After purchase you'll receive an email with your download link. Click it to download the installer DMG for your plugin or bundle.
Open the DMG, double-click the .pkg installer, and follow the prompts. Enter your macOS password when asked. Plugins install automatically to the correct system folders for AU, VST3, and AAX.
Open your DAW's plugin preferences and rescan. Most DAWs do this automatically on next launch. If a plugin doesn't appear, look for a "Rescan" or "Reset & Rescan" button in your plugin manager.
Installation
Open your DAW's plugin preferences and run a rescan. If it still doesn't appear, check that the plugin file is in the correct folder:
AU: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
AAX: /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/
If the file is there but the plugin won't load, try reinstalling from a fresh download. Still stuck? Email us.
Go to Logic Pro → Preferences → Plug-in Manager, find the plugin, and click Reset & Rescan Selection. If it keeps failing, try reinstalling the plugin and rescanning again. If the issue persists, contact us with your macOS version and Logic version.
Try increasing your DAW's buffer size to 512 or 1024 samples. Also check Activity Monitor for any background processes using heavy CPU. All SNAPE plugins are designed to be light on CPU — if the problem persists on a specific plugin, let us know.

No. SNAPE Audio plugins do not require an iLok dongle or account for any format, including AAX. Just install the plugin and it will run in your DAW without any activation step.
Yes. Install the plugin on any Mac you own and it will run. No activation limits or machine locks.
