End User License Agreement

IMPORTANT: By installing, copying, or otherwise using SNAPE Audio software products ("Software"), you agree to be bound by the terms of this End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the Software.

1. LICENSE GRANT

Subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA, SNAPE Audio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Install and use the Software on up to two (2) computers simultaneously for personal or commercial music production purposes
  • Use the Software to create, record, mix, and produce audio recordings
  • Use the audio output generated by the Software in your own musical works, commercial or otherwise

2. OWNERSHIP

  • You Own Your Music: You retain all rights to any audio recordings or musical works created using the Software
  • SNAPE Owns the Software: SNAPE Audio retains all intellectual property rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all code, graphics, user interface, and documentation
  • Trademarks: "SNAPE Audio," plugin names, and logos are trademarks of SNAPE Audio and may not be used without permission

3. RESTRICTIONS

You may NOT:

  • Distribute, sell, lease, rent, lend, or sublicense the Software to any third party
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices
  • Use the Software in any illegal manner or for any unlawful purpose
  • Share your license or download link with others
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any copy protection or license validation mechanisms

4. ACTIVATIONS & TRANSFERS

4.1 Number of Activations

Each license permits activation on up to two (2) computers simultaneously. If you need to use the Software on a third computer, you must deactivate it from one of your existing computers first.

4.2 Computer Replacement

If you replace or upgrade your computer, you may deactivate the Software from the old computer and activate it on the new one. This does not count as a license transfer.

4.3 License Transfers

You may permanently transfer your license to another person under the following conditions:

  • The transfer must be of the entire license (you cannot transfer individual plugins from a bundle)
  • You must remove the Software from all your computers
  • Transfers must be requested via support@snapeaudio.com
  • License transfers are permitted once per year per license

5. UPDATES & UPGRADES

5.1 Free Updates

All software updates within the same major version (e.g., version 1.0 to 1.9) are provided free of charge to licensed users.

5.2 Major Version Upgrades

Upgrades to new major versions (e.g., version 1.x to 2.x) may require an additional fee. SNAPE Audio will offer discounted upgrade pricing to existing customers.

5.3 Bundle Holders

Holders of the "Complete Collection" bundle receive all future plugin additions at no additional cost.

6. REFUND POLICY

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. SNAPE AUDIO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Warranties that the Software will be compatible with all systems or DAWs

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAPE AUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • Business interruption or loss of business opportunity
  • Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Software

IN NO EVENT SHALL SNAPE AUDIO'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.

9. TERMINATION

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any term of this EULA. Upon termination:

  • You must cease all use of the Software
  • You must delete or destroy all copies of the Software in your possession
  • Sections regarding ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination

10. EXPORT CONTROLS

The Software may be subject to export control laws. You agree to comply with all applicable international and national laws, including U.S. Export Administration Regulations.

11. SUPPORT

SNAPE Audio provides email-based technical support for licensed users. Support is provided on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed response time. Support includes:

  • Installation and activation assistance
  • Bug reports and troubleshooting
  • General product questions

Support does NOT include:

  • Music production consulting or mixing advice
  • DAW-specific technical support (contact your DAW manufacturer)
  • Custom feature development or modifications

12. PRIVACY

SNAPE Audio collects minimal personal information for license activation and support purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

13. GOVERNING LAW

This EULA shall be governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, or if necessary, through binding arbitration.

14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This EULA constitutes the entire agreement between you and SNAPE Audio regarding the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.

15. MODIFICATIONS

SNAPE Audio reserves the right to modify this EULA at any time. Updated versions will be posted at snapeaudio.com/eula. Your continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified EULA.

16. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this EULA is held to be unenforceable, that provision shall be removed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
